Anchor Point Therapy

(Formerly Kate Bailey: Counselling Services For Women)

Helping women across Ontario break old patterns, heal past wounds, and build lasting resilience.

Welcome!

kate bailey, counsellor

At Anchor Point Therapy, we work with women who are ready to do the deep, transformative work of therapy. Women who want to understand their anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing patterns at their roots.

While our work started with a strong focus on perinatal support, Anchor Point Therapy now serves women across life stages, offering space for healing, personal growth, and resilience through life’s many transitions.

Together, we:

  • Explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious

  • Gently process past experiences and trauma

  • Build practical, body-based tools for nervous system regulation and emotional resilience

  • Navigate major life transitions with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion

This work isn’t always easy, but it’s powerful, lasting, and truly life-changing. If you’re ready for more than coping strategies or traditional talk therapy, you’re in the right place.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, we work together to explore the patterns and habits that are making life feel overwhelming. This can include anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing, as well as challenges with identity or major life transitions. Through reflective discussion and practical strategies, we focus on building self-awareness, emotional resilience, and tools to respond to stress more effectively, helping women feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma therapy provides a safe space to address the effects of past trauma. Whether from childhood, relationships, or other life experiences, these continue to impact thoughts, emotions, and behaviors today. We work together to process difficult memories, understand their influence, and integrate healing strategies such as inner-child work and nervous system regulation. The goal is to release the grip of past experiences, develop self-compassion, and reclaim a sense of freedom and emotional balance.

Perinatal Therapy

Pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood can bring joy but also profound stress, identity shifts, and emotional challenges. In perinatal therapy, we work together to navigate these transitions, address anxiety or perfectionism around parenthood, and process the emotional and physiological changes of this period. We focus on creating tools for emotional regulation, rebuilding connection with yourself, and strengthening resilience, so you can feel supported, present, and more confident during this transformative time.

Our Process.

Begin by booking a complimentary 15-minute consult through my secure booking system. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, talk about what you’re going through, and see if we’d be a good fit to work together.

During the consult, we’ll discuss your goals and what kind of support you’re looking for. There’s no obligation to move forward. This step is about clarity and comfort for you.
